Spin the bride during golden hour, Ines & Todd.

Ines and Todd had a very unique and cool rustic wedding at Fjeldheim (Tahoe Mountain Home) South Lake Tahoe, NV.  Fjeldheim has a wonderful view across Lake Tahoe and was a great venue for Ines and Todd’s rustic wedding.  The day was riddled with green complimented by accents of burlap and birch.  The decor fit their theme very well and was well executed.  The centerpiece arrangements had milestone moments placed on each card and added a wonderful personal touch.  During the two hour  cocktail service, they incorporated fun game stations for their guests including; Jenga, ladder ball, bean bag toss and horse shoes.   The Jenga participation was high, and everyone involved seemed to gravitate to the challenge of the oversized Jenga set they had on offer. I think the biggest challenge was dealing with the cross wind traveling across the lake.  Two of the most memorable key components of the evening was their well choreographed ballroom dance upon their grand entrance and a duet rendition of Don McLean’s American Pie.  Ines & Todd’s grand entrance/first dance set the tone for the rest of the evening.  They met ballroom dancing so they literally changed shoes and performed a dance that set the hardwood dance floor on fire.  They didn’t miss a beat and it’s no mystery why they were meant for each other.  During the speeches a husband and wife duet took center stage and sang their own rendition of American Pie.  The lyrics were altered to tell their love story and brought everyone to thunderous applause, laughter and tears.  Congratulations Ines & Todd!
