The show must go on. Amy and Adam had planned for a fall outdoor wedding at Northstar at Tahoe. Amy and Adam are avid snowboarders at visit Northstar frequently during the winter and decided that Northstar would be a great place for their day. With the planning of any outdoor wedding, weather can always be a factor. The original plans for the day was to have their ceremony at the top of the Zephyr chairlift. However, mother nature had some plans to kick fall off here in Tahoe with some heavy rainfall and a dusting of snow at elevations above 8000 ft. Since the rain showed up, an effective contingency plan was set in place by the event staff at Northstar and the day quickly shifted gears to accommodate for the less than ideal weather. The ceremony was relegated to the Overlook in the tent where their reception was to take place. Not phased in any fashion to the weather conditions, Amy and Adam simply adapted their attitudes towards the whole scheme of the day and we were able to still come away with some gorgeous and memorable photos. Speaking of memorable, the groom has one hell of a voice and serenaded the bride with his own rendition of “Sherry” originally performed by Franki Valli and The 4 Seasons. Adam and all his groomsmen hit every note with a flawlessly choreagraphed performance that brought the bride to tears and the tent to a roar. Congratulations Amy and Adam!
