The holidays are a popular time of year for marriage proposals. Jose´stepped up to the plate and asked his girlfriend Laura to take his hand in marriage in grand fashion. When he contacted me, he told me his plans of how he was going to surprise her with the proposal during their first trip to South Lake Tahoe. Both of them are from South America, Guatemala and Costa Rica to be exact, so he wanted to go big and make a great impression. He had planned this out carefully and rented an hour time slot with the Borges Family Sleigh and Carriage Rides to and from Lakeside Beach. I placed myself inconspicuously  as possible  on the beach making sure to capture the big reveal. When he proposed, the public attendants on the beach roared with applause as she happily accepted!   After the proposal we did some photos for an impromptu engagement photo session on the beach and had a great time. Congratulations Jose´and Laura!
