Last weekend I had the pleasure of traveling down to Mountain House, CA for a super fun engagement session. Brooke & Joel live in Tracy, CA and decided that incorporating Joel’s work would suit their session just right. Joel is a firefighter in Mountain House, CA. Mountain House is a newly added master planned community just west of Tracy, CA. It so happens that my little sister lives in that community so when Brooke requested that I come down to shoot their session, I was more than happy to do so. Knowing the area well, we took advantage of Mountain House Creek for some great spring backdrops. We also got to incorporate a couple of firetrucks into their session. The firetruck that stood out the most was the vintage 1930’s firetruck that is now used as a parade vehicle. We took it for a quick spin as Joel is one of only 3 guys at the Mountain House fire station that knows how to drive it. It was a bumpy, slow and smoke filled ride but it sure was fun. Congratulations Brooke & Joel and I cant wait for their wedding up in Truckee, CA in September!
