Big congrats to Courtney and Chris who celebrated their union in marriage at Montreux Golf Course Reno, NV! Courtney and Chris are a very fun, laid back, and easy going couple who are a joy to photograph. Last year we had a gorgeous Lake Tahoe engagement session at Sand Harbor, NV. They had a beautiful “First Look” in Caughlin Ranch where Courtney’s family has a gorgeous home overlooking downtown Reno. After their first look we then headed on over to Montreaux for their big wedding. Even though the weather was unseasonably hot (100 degrees hot!) the setting on the Patty Sheehan Hole was gorgeous. Courtney’s choice of decor and adding a theme of peacock feathers to the day worked real well and the color scheme was fabulous. Summer wildflowers were in bloom just off the Patty Sheehan Hole and allowed for some great post ceremony photos. During the reception, Courtney’s sister Emily put on a very memorable speech that pretty much stole the show. It consisted of sign language and a surprise song and took the bride an groom completely off guard. It was definitely one of the most memorable speeches/performances that I have ever witnessed and will locked into the memory banks forever. Congratulations again Courtney and Chris and here are just a few of the many favorites from their wedding day.
