It happens to pretty much all of us . We spend our younger years rebelling against anything and everything that stands in our way, running rampant and galavanting about town. Snowboard all day, rage all night and to hell with the consequences. But then society and, to some degree, conformity grab hold and tame our wild ways. Responsibilities and priorities pile up and things start to slow down a bit. You take a look around and the company you keep starts to change. You ask yourself “Where’d they all go?”. Simple answer is, they “grew up” and started a life of their own.
A couple months ago I got a phone call from an old snowboard buddy, Trent, and he told me he was getting married. Super stoked for him, I knew that he was settling in to more domesticated ways and positive change was upon him. We hadn’t spoke to each other in quite some time and he expressed the need for my services. I happily obliged and we got things setup. Here are some favorites from our session with his beautiful fiancée Jenna and supporting cast “Raven” and “Ryder”, their two faithful Rottweilers. We did a tour de North Shore of Lake Tahoe and scored some great fall photographs in historical downtown Truckee, Martis Valley and Sand Harbor. Really looking forward to their big day at The Ritz Carlton next summer.
