Winter Family Portrait Session North Lake Tahoe Incline Village Sand Harbor. It’s been real nice to finally have a winter after years of drought. It has been quite some time that the Gomez family has come up to Tahoe to enjoy it’s winter glory. Julie thought that it would be a great idea to capture their family in a memorable winter setting prior to their oldest daughter leaving for college next year at Cal State Los Angeles. We met up at the Hyatt in Incline Village and found some pockets of snow so that they could let out some family aggression via a good snowball fight. I reminded them not to go too ballistic and trash each other’s portrait attire as we still had more photos to take. They tried to take it easy on one another, but let’s face it, snowball fights can escalate into a mess quickly! After exercising my authority as the “No Fun Police” we made our way down to the always photographic Sand Harbor. We scored perfect light and nailed some great photos capturing the essence of their family. I really enjoyed photographing their family and I wish Lyric nothing but the best when she takes off for college! Scroll below to see more highlights
