Rainy spring wedding North Tahoe Lodge Tahoe Donner with Double Rainbow. Well it’s been a common theme here in Tahoe for the past month as rain and thunderstorms have been gracing our area. Intermittent downpours followed by dramatic lightning and thunder has locals and visitors alike really preparing properly for their outdoor excursions.  When planning for your outdoor wedding in these unpredictable conditions, it can make you a little uneasy.  Jenna and Chris had a bit of that uneasiness when came to their wedding last weekend.  However, it worked out in their favor and then some. Right before their first look, the rain started to come down and we did not know what to expect. As I was setting up their first look the rain stopped briefly enabling us to get some great moments. Then right at the beginning of their ceremony prior to the exchange of their vows on the back deck at the North Tahoe Lodge, the rain started to fall lightly and just behind them on the horizon looking across the Truckee valley, a serendipitous double rainbow appeared right over the entire ceremony! It completely encompassed their ceremony and made for a one of a kind magical setting. Congratulations Jenna & Chris!
